Ford Employees Drive Upcoming Cars to Boost Morale

One way to get employees to feel they have a vested interest in a company is get them involved in company business beyond their tasks.
Ford hopes to accomplish such a moral boster by encourages its workers to test future Ford cars.
The program is called “Drive One”. In the program, employees are being taken to the company’s secret test track in Dearborn, Michigan about every afternoon to get behind the wheel of Ford’s future vehicles. About 4,000 employees and retirees will get their chance to drive which include the next generation Mustang and Fusion.
Other vehicles include an electric Ford Ranger compact pickup, a plug-in hybrid Escape, and several models that feature the EcoBoost engine.
